Nightshade
Nightshade is a sole proprietorship run by Nickie Tavares in Honolulu. This is the privacy policy for the circle and for the Android listing. It describes what the servers actually keep. Last updated October 22, 2026.
Nightshade is for adults. The reading refuses a birth date under 18. It is a dating circle, not a service for minors, and it does not target children.
The account lives on Nightshade’s servers, not only on your phone. Signing in on another phone brings the same reading, photographs, notes, and purchases. Nightshade does not read your GPS. The place on your profile is the city you choose.
With the account, the servers keep:
Short counters of new accounts from a network, and of notes you send, are kept to slow abuse. They are not a profile of you, and old counters are dropped.
You can add up to three photographs. They are stored on Nightshade’s servers with the account. Accepted files are JPEG, PNG, or WebP, each under about 1.2 megabytes. Nightshade checks that the file is actually an image of that type.
Another member does not receive the picture until a heart with a note reveals one of them, you match, they are in the Inner Circle, or they pay to unveil. Until then the photograph is not sent to their phone.
Paid orders open on Stripe. Stripe collects the card on Stripe’s page. Nightshade does not see or store the card number, the security code, or the billing address. When Stripe confirms a payment, Nightshade records the order on your account: the item, the amount, and Stripe’s payment id. That is what unlocks a note, an unveil, a membership, or a listing. Tapping a button in the app does not count as paid.
Prices sit on a grid of $3, $6, and $9. Circle and Inner Circle are memberships. The Terms of Service describe renewals and refunds.
Block, on a profile or a conversation, hides both people from each other in the circle, in hearts, in bonds, and in messages, on every phone. Report asks for a reason and does the same block. The report stays for the owner to review, including the reported profile and the messages in that bond. It is not sent through your mail app.
The reading, photographs, messages, and purchase records stay until you delete the account, or until the account is banned.
From the You tab, choose Delete the account. That removes the login, the reading, the photographs, the hearts, the blocks, the messages you sent, and the conversations you were in, including the other person’s messages in those bonds. It also removes Nightshade’s copy of your orders. Stripe keeps the charge under Stripe’s own policy. Sessions end because the account is gone.
A report is kept after deletion so a review can be finished. If an email is banned, that email and the reason stay on a ban list so it cannot register again. Deleting your own account does not put you on that list.
If you email a gathering, your mail app sends that message to support@nightshadecircle.com. Write only what you want read. That mail is not stored in the Nightshade account.
Nightshade does not show ads and does not sell personal information.
